Hello...I just bought and received 2 of your 8, 5 lug, 4 1/2inch pattern, wheels for a small Trailer. Whats the proper torque, please? Im at 60# now and that seems very tight already?....thank you...

Thanks for ordering with us! I see that you purchased the Kenda 215/60-8 Tire/Wheel Combo, # AM3H323. The torque rating for lug nuts on trailer wheels varies depending on the stud size, lug nut type, wheel size and wheel composition. I've attached a chart that shows standard lug nut torque specs. As you can see on the attached chart, the recommended torque specifications for 1/2" wheel studs and an 8" wheel, like yours, is 75-85 ft-lb.
Even though they are starting to feel tight at 60 ft-lb, you want to make sure they are torqued properly for safety using a torque wrench like # ALL944001. The lugs can loosen over time, so you want to check them every 3 months or 3000 miles. I've attached a Trailer Maintenance Schedule & a video on tightening lug nuts which you may find helpful.
