The same wheels can be used for both radial and bias ply tires. Wheels are interchangeable between the two types of tires that you mentioned so you will have no issue making the switch using your existing rims.
Just keep in mind that, depending on your specific application, a radial tire is generally going to be superior than a bias alternative. This is because of how the two tires differ in their construction. The cords on a radial tire will run at a 90 degree angle to the direction of travel, which helps with better flexion and ground contact. A radial tire will also run cooler than a bias tire, especially when under a load. A tire that runs cooler will generally last longer. The one instance where a bias ply tire has an advantage is for off road applications like farm use, as they will have a stiffer sidewall than a radial ply tire.
If you can tell me what tire size you are looking for, I will be happy to recommend a replacement set for your trailer. I have attached a link that will take you to our available selection of trailer tires that you can also look through.
