The difference between Radial and Bias tires is that Radials will run cooler than Bias (making them last longer for highway applications) and they have more flexibility for better ground contact, traction, stability, and tread wear. Bias tires have a stiffer sidewall which makes them ideal for off-road use like on a farm. Since most people transport their boats on the highway I recommend going with a Radial tire.

The other thing you will want to pay attention to is the type of wheel that you have. Most trailers have wheels that just have a powder coat finish, like part # AM32459. This is great for normal use, but is not the best situation for a marine application. I recommend using a wheel that has a Galvanized finish, like part # AM32468 which does a lot better at resisting corrosion.
