Bike Rack Recommendation that is Easy to Load/Unload and Install/Remove From Vehicle

Question:

Hi. I am looking for a bike rack for two hybrids for a hitch on a 2017 Jeep Cherokee. I would like something that is easy to install onto the hitch and easy to remove. One of the bikes is a bit larger than the other as my husband is 5 ft 6. Which would you recommend. thanks. GREAT Website .. Great Videos. Thanks

I really like the Saris SuperClamp EX part # SA4025F. This is a lightweight platform rack (which is normally an unheard of combo). That means it'll be easy to install and remove from your vehicle since it's light, but also it'll be very easy to load bikes on since it's a platform rack.

This rack also only touches bikes at the tire so it protects any damage to delicate frame materials or finishes.

would this work for cruiser type ebikes with fenders?

The Saris SuperClamp # SA4025F isn't a good option for your Cruiser since the hooks need to secure over the wheels - this will either press down onto the fender (potentially damaging them) or you'd need to tilt them further down the wheel which won't provide a secure enough attachment. A much better option is a frame-mount carrier like the Yakima OnRamp # Y88DJ, which also features an integrated ramp to help with loading.
