Question:
I want to mount this in a 2012 Ram 3500, 6.7L Diesel, Crew Cab, 4X4 Pickup. I have a couple of questions. 1- What is meant by no pivot, hitch only?inch What is a pivot? 2- What rail mount can I use on my truck? I have the AIR LIFT 57295 LoadLifter 5000 Series Rear Air Spring Kit installed on my truck?

The specs for the Andersen Ultimate Connection 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch System # AM3200 indicate "no pivot" because this hitch is a fixed-type adapter that does not pivot front-to-back or side-to-side the way an actual 5th wheel hitch head can.
For example, Curt 5th wheel hitch # C16120 uses an axial bearing that lets the head assembly pivot on the base to make hitching easier. With the Andersen adapter the hitch ball is rigidly fixed and coupling the trailer to it will therefore require more careful alignment of the truck and trailer.
I confirmed with my contact at AirLift that this kit # AL57295 is compatible with 5th wheel rail kits since it is a 4WD truck. You can use an install kit such as # RP50140-58. This is a custom kit that will reduce your drilling and install time.
