How do I tell if my 2016 4wd Ram 2500 cummins tradesman double cab with 8 ft bed has a rail kit? Is this the correct hitch for my truck?

If your 2016 Ram 2500 has a factory rail kit there won't actually be any rails. It will actually look like the picture I have included. The 4 holes around the center hole are for a 5th wheel hitch and the center one is for a gooseneck ball.
If your truck does not have that center hole then it doesn't have a factory prep package and you can use B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch w/ Custom Installation Kit - 30,000 lbs Item # BWGNRK1384. I have linked a video showing an example installation for you.
If it does have the center hole for a gooseneck ball then you would just need a ball kit such as # C60618.
