How to Determine if Factory Gooseneck Trailer Hitch is Installed in a 2016 Ram 2500

2016 ram 2500 bighorn 4x4 diesel. how do i know if factory rails are installed?

If you have the factory gooseneck prep kit in your 2016 Ram 2500 then you'll have holes in the truck's bed that safety chain loops and hitch ball included with part # RP30140 fit into. I've attached a picture of what they look like installed and if you have the locations for them you can't miss them. If you have the factory kit then # RP30140 is all you'll need.

If you don't have the factory kit then you'll need to install a gooseneck underbed trailer hitch like the Curt # C60614. This includes everything you need for the install. You will need to drill the necessary holes in your truck's bed.

If you'd also like to add a wiring harness to your Ram's bed I recommend using # 50-97-410. It plugs in inline with your existing 7-way and adds an additional one in the bed.
