How will the work vehicle 4 pin flat to trailer 5 pin flat

If you have a 5-way on trailer and a 4-way on your vehicle what will happen when you plug the two together is that everything will work fine except the fifth circuit on the trailer.

If you wanted a 5-way adapter you could then use the part # 20036 which will allow you to run the fifth circuit to wherever needed. Most commonly to the reverse light circuit.
