Will the Yakima RailGrab Adapters Work With My 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee With Flush Rails?

Question:
I have a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee it has the low profile Factory rails on it I have just purchased a used Yakima rack system that included the crossbars and foot packs however the foot packs will not attached to my rails because they are low profile I was told that this adapter would allow me to attach the foot packs is that correct thanks so much

If your Cherokee has the E Group package, you will see a metal strip in the flush mounted rails. If you have the E Group package, the Yakima Adapters for RailGrab Roof Rack Towers, part # Y8880201, will work with the flush factory rails on your 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
However, if you do not have the E Group package, your rails are only there for aesthetic reasons and can't be used to mount a roof rack. If you are aren't sure if you have the E Group package, you can call your dealer with your VIN number and they should be able to look up the details of your vehicle.
