I have a 2002 Silverado 1500hd, will this still fit?

If your 2002 Chevy Silverado 1500 has a roll pan bumper (which is basically the absence of a bumper) then yes, Curt trailer hitch # 13932, will fit. If your truck has the regular step bumper then you can use Curt trailer hitch # 13332 instead.

I also recommend etrailer ball mount kit # EBMK4. It comes with a ball mount with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop, interchangeable ball set, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag. If the ball mount kit does not have the right rise or drop to tow the trailer level, use the link I have included that explains how to measure to choose a ball mount to tow the trailer level.

If your truck does not already have a factory trailer connector then check above and around the spare tire for a wire bundle. It is used to install a trailer connector. You can use Pollak 7-Pole, RV-Style Trailer Connector Socket w/ Wiring Harness and Mounting Bracket Item # PK11898. Or, if instead of wires there is a round plug you can use Replacement Custom Multi-Tow 7-Way and 4-Way Trailer Connectors Item # 30955.
