Question:

I have a 2014 Silverado. The hinges make it very easy to open and close. I have an application for which I would like a similar type of hinge. Do you have such a thing and what is the cost. The hinge system would need to be able to handle a steel ramp approximately 20 feet by 10 feet, which I estimate to be around 200 to 300 pounds. Thanks!

For your ramp, I recommend a hinge like the Ramp Door Hinge - Steel # PLR1902 or the Dump Door Hinge - Steel # PLR1904-Z. Both of these have a built in zerk grease fitting.

Then you can use springs like # RS16933RH and # RS16933LH. If you want further help in lifting and lowering, I recommend the Rack'Em Double Barrel Utility Trailer Tailgate Lift Assist w/ Chain - 200 lbs # RA-27C that can be used on either side or both.
