Question:
Good morning. I have a small utility trailer with a motorcycle tire chock installed and am looking to replace the rear carriage bolt setup that is used to attach the folding loading ramp with a stronger hinge setup. I am not sure what type of hinges to get welded on. It needs to be able to support the weight of loading a 500lb motorcycle. Thanks!

For your ramp and 500 pound motorcycle I recommend using a couple of ramp hinges, # PLR1902, sold in quantities of 1. This is a heavy duty ramp hinge and has a grease fitting so you can easily keep It lubricated.
I am not sure how wide your ramp is or the available space you have to mount a hinge but the overall length of this hinge is 8-3/16. For something a little shorter we have dump door hinge # PLR1904-Z which is under 5 inches wide. I have linked videos on both of these hinges for you.
