Question:

I have a 1998 Lund which I purchased new with the trailer. Its a Shorelandr trailer and I can only assume it is also a 1998. The winch has rusted and the strap has worn thin good for 25 years. Im hoping that you might sell a total replacement. Picture attached. Can you help?

Thanks for the picture! While we do not have an exact replacement for a Profile 2000 winch we do recommend the Dutton-Lainson Hand Winch item # DL14627 as a replacement. This winch has an 1,800 lbs capacity and will work great with the 20' x 2" Heavy-Duty Winch Strap with Hook item # FWS20HD0200 you were looking at.

Hi Jerred, I’m not understanding this winch replacement. The fit doesnt seem to match. Will that winch actually fit inside the profile 2000?

Hi again Jerred, i think I’ve figured it out, so i removed the parts out of the profile 2000 and insert the new parts, is that correct? And if that’s the case will the Dutton liaison DL 1802A work as well? Thank you Alan.
