Question:

Hi I have a 2004 f350 with 8 foot bed. I have a Reese 30026 hitch. Can I use the Reese custom install kit? Also does the kit come with the pins to mount unit to rails? Thanks

For your 2004 Ford F-350, your 5th wheel hitch is compatible with the custom install rail kit. I recommend the Reese Quick-Install Custom Base Rails and Installation Kit for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # RP50082-58 which has the custom brackets for your truck. For an even easier install with custom brackets, I recommend the Reese Quick-Install Custom Base Rails and Outboard Installation Kit for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # RP56005-53. These rails are longer at 48 inches versus the 43 inches and are compatible with your hitch as well. The outboard rails give you more working room for a simple install.

Pins to mount your hitch are not included. I recommend the Fifth Wheel Hitch Replacement Pins and Clips (Qty 4) # 6014 or the Replacement Pull Pin Kit for Reese Outboard Fifth Wheel Mounting Rails # RP58467 which have a usable length of 4-1/4 inches compared to the standard 3-1/4 inches for the standard pins.
