Will The Timbren Rear Suspension Work on the Rear of a 2001 Ford F-53 Class A Motor Home
Question:
Is there a Timbren product for the rear of my 2001 F-53 Class A? The springs seem to be sagging. I added Firestone air bags and more leafs to the front. I am not sure what Ford uses for springs but it sure loses its tensile.

Timbren does offer a suspension kit for the rear of your 2001 Ford F-53 Class A Motor Home. It is the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System, part # TFRF53A. It will install in place of the bump stops on the vehicle. They are designed to work with a suspension system that is in good working order. They are not designed to be used as the main suspension system on your vehicle.
It works by being installed on the vehicles frame rail one inch above the rear axle. The one inch clearance allows the existing factory suspension to work normally. When the vehicle is loaded the rubber spring will come in contact with the rear axle and the rubber spring will get more rigid as the spring is compressed.
I also have the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs, part # F2170, for the rear of your F-53 Motor Home. These air springs will attach to the frame and the vehicles axle and work with your existing suspension. The air springs can be filled to reduce the sagging on the rear of your vehicle.
I am including a link to the installation instructions on the Timbren rear suspension and the Firestone air springs.
