Recommended Trailer Wiring Harness for 2012 Audi Q7 with Tow Package
Updated 07/06/2017 | Published 07/04/2017 >
Question:
I have a 2012 Audi Q7 with towing package but I recently tried to rent a trailer and the lights wouldnt work. Is there a wiring adapter for the lights on an Audi? The Audi dealer was clueless and the Uhaul guys didnt have anything onsite. Any help is appreciated, thank you.

To install a fully functional 4-Pole flat connector to connect with and activate the signal lights on the trailer, I recommend the Hopkins Plug-In Simple Wiring Harness # 41155. This is confirmed to fit your 2012 Audi Q7 with the factory tow package and will install by plugging directly into the OEM tow package wiring harness. No cutting or splicing is required.
I have attached the installation details for you to check out.
