Expert Reply:
To combine the Curt Friction Style Sway Control System, item # 17200, with the Curt Trunnion Style Weight Distribution System, item # 17302, all you will have to do is set up the weight distribution system and then attach the small threaded ball from the friction sway control to the small, side ball hole on the weight distribution head. Then attach the plate mounted ball in the friction sway control system the the trailer frame 24 inches straight back from the center of the trailer coupler, on the same side as you mounted the ball in the weight distribution head.
You can then attach the sway control arm and tighten the brake tension until proper sway control is achieved and you are ready to go.
