Question:

Recently purchased Curt 18030 Rack and Master 1470DAT lock and cable from you. Unfortunately the lock does not fit this bike rack. Can you recommend one that does have same threading and length to fit this Curt model.? In meantime I am returning the lock and i would love to purchase another with the cable as one package or separately.

We offer Curt Adjustable 6-Foot Cable Lock # C23666 for use with your hitch bike rack # C18030 but really any cable lock will serve to secure your bikes to the rack and even secure the rack to your hitch. The cable lock # e98891, which is 10-feet, should provide enough length to allow you to route it through each of the bikes, and also through the small ring on the upright tube. You can then secure the rack and bikes to the hitch with the one cable lock.

If you prefer you can certainly use two cable locks, one to lock the bikes to the rack and another to lock the rack to the hitch.

Curt does not offer a hitch lock for this rack.
