Measurements Needed For Replacement Hub Assemblies Compatible With Spindle
Published 06/22/2017 >
Question:
I want to upgrade my hub assembly on my 2000 Spartan boat trailer. I just repacked the bearings and put in a new grease seal. The numbers on the present hub are, BT-150 and KO followed by either a 3 or a 9, hard to read, And an R, and the letters MGI. Can you tell me if you know what hub assembly I would need? preferably one that has the bearings already packed. It is a 2090lb trailer with 13x4.5 inch tires. Thanks...

Unfortunately I cannot tell you what you need based on that info. If you can give me the bearing numbers on the inner and outer bearing of one of your hubs along with the seal number I can help. There are very rarely pre-packed assemblies, but every so often we have on that is a match.
If you can't get me bearing numbers, if you use a digital caliper like the 4" Carbon Fiber Digital Caliper # PTW80157 and take pictures of the measurements on your spindle where the bearings and seal ride, I can help from that information. I've attached a photo to help.
