Question:
I just watched: Installation of a Trailer Wiring Harness on a 2001 Chevrolet Venture Is the process basically the same for a 2001 Chevy Tracker? If yes, what part number do I need from you? Thank you.

The 2001 Chevy Tracker uses the trailer wiring harness part # C55372 which is used on a few different GM vehicles. The install location for the Tracker is a bit different than the other vehicles but we can still help you find it.
I spoke with a customer who has performed this installation and had to remove the forward panel in the cargo area of the vehicle. He stated that prior to removing the back drivers side jack compartment panel for access to the trailer wiring plug, he had to first remove the panel in front of it, by removing a few screws.
I attached an installation instructions for you to check out.

It took longer to take jack handle and lug wrench out of the compartment than the 15 seconds it took to connect the 118372 part to the vehicle. I thought that can’t be right but it is. I can have a beer for my reward yeah e-trailer
