Question:
I have a Winnebago 2012 Sprinter Itasca and has tow package in back of the motorhome with the 7 female connector but do not see a factory wire harness for the electrical brake under the dash. Why Winnebago install towing package without putting a electric break connector under the dash? I see a YouTube video that you tube suppose to be under the seat. Is there a reason that Winnebago did not at least the electric brake harness under the front driver side for later installation of electrical brake? Is there any other parts besides a electrical break unit I would need? Do you have a wire diagram? Blessings

For your 2012 Winnebago Sprinter Itasca, I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 brake controller # 90195. This is a proportional brake controller meaning that your trailer brakes will be applied at the same time and the same intensity as you hit the brake pedal in your motorhome. This controller has an easy to read LCD screen that sets it apart from others because there is no code deciphering necessary.
Due to the wiring system of your vehicle, you will need access the wires located under the driver's seat as you mentioned. I recommend using the Deka Jacketed 2 Wire, 10 Gauge, Brake Wire - per Foot # 10-2-1 and labeling the wires for function instead of trying to match colors of your 4 wires. You will need the 12-10 Gauge Butt Connector # 05732-2 for these connections. I've attached a video of this exact install to walk you through the process.
