Installation of Slipper Spring with Open Eye End

Question:
Buying new e33SR springs. Comes with one bushing on the closed mounting end. Want a bushing for the open end, which one do I get?
asked by: Mark M
Expert Reply:
Slipper Springs like # e33SR do not use a bolt and bushing for the open eye end of the spring. It connects directly to the hanger using a slipper spring hanger kit.

I have the same question. I have an old single axle utility trailer that has a closed eye on one end of the leaf spring and a open loop on the other. Something has to serve as a bushing in the loop end. The original had already been cut off when I got the project to fix.
