Question:
I have 2 6x10 utility trailers that need new tires, one has 205/75 D14 Load Stars on it and the other has 205/75 D15 Load Stars Can I use 14s on both of them? Also they say D14 and D15 so is that different then the Rs I have in my shopping cart waiting to decide if I should purchase? Thanks,

The 15 at the end of the tire size for your second trailer indicates the wheel diameter that the tire is mounted on. If this trailer uses 15 inch wheels, then a 14 inch tire will not be compatible.
For your trailer that uses 205/75D15 tires, I recommend staying with this same size such as the Kenda Karrier ST205/75R15 # AM10244. This tire has a 1,820 pound load capacity at 50 psi and includes a limited 2-year warranty.
Then for your other trailer, the Kenda Karrier ST205/75R14 # AM10234 will work great. It has a 1,760 pound load capacity at 50 psi.
The "D" that is listed in your existing tire size refers to its internal construction. These tires have a diagonal or bias ply construction, meaning the tire's body plies crisscross. Radial tires, which use the "R" in the size listing, have plies that branch out from an imaginary center of the wheel. Radial tires will flex more than a bias tire, giving it better ground contact, traction and stability. They will also run cooler than a bias alternative, especially when the tire is under a load. Generally speaking, a tire that runs cooler will simply last longer. Going with new radial tires is definitely a good choice and is what I recommend for your trailer.
I have included a couple of great articles on trailer tires that you may also find helpful.
