Troubleshooting Timbren Suspension Enhancement System with Too Much Space to Level 2013 Ram 1500

Updated 05/25/2017 | Published 05/24/2017

Question:

I installed a timbren ses kit on my 2013 ram 1500. I have a 2inch level on the front. When i loaded the bed down to where the timbren springs touched the axle, the rear end was lower than the front of the truck. Unloaded the gap between the timbrens and the axle is 1 1/2. What would b the solution to keep it level with the front. Can u out a spacer on the timbens? If so , do i need longer bolts. What size are the bolts and how long should they be. What does it take to disassemble the timbren spring?

You want to have between a 1/2 inch to 1-1/2 inches of clearance between the Timbren and the contact point when the truck isn't under a load.

To reduce the amount of space you can add a spacer # A25723-90AH00. This will likely solve your issue. They're designed to be used on a lifted truck.

Also, can you tell me the model number of the kit you purchased? The cab length and specific type of suspension can impact which Timbren system you use and you may not have the appropriate setup for your truck.
