Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this RV Designer gas strut. Now, this gas strut is kind of like the support arm that you see holding up things, like your RV doors, truck caps, or storage compartments. So its main job is to make opening and closing smoother, and safer, and easier. And this is built to last with the durable black finish. And let me go ahead and get my tape measure.
I'm gonna measure center of socket to center of socket. And as you can see, this is 15 inches long, and this is going to give you about 30 pounds of lifting force, which is gonna help take some of that weight off when you lift something like a cargo door or bed platform. So, instead of slamming it shut, the strut is gonna control the movement, so it's gonna open easily and close in a more controlled way. This will install onto your current ball studs, this does not include any, so this will reduce your hardware. I think it's gonna wrap up our look today.
