Question:

Id like to add a hitch to the back of my 2015 25foot Airstream trailer. I want to use a cargo carrier and place a Honda 3000 generator on it. By reading this info, it appears this would work. The generator is approx. 130 lbs. would you agree??

Ultra-Fab 2" Trailer Hitch # UF35-946403 is pretty much a universal fit type of item. If the frame spacing on your Airstream is 47 to 77 inches then this hitch can be installed. It has a 350 pound tongue weight capacity so the combined weight of the cargo carrier and the Honda generator cannot exceed that limit.

For a cargo carrier than can be used on the back of a trailer or RV I recommend TorkLift carrier # TLA7752 because it is large enough to hold the Honda 3000 generators. The carrier weighs 75 pounds so the combined weight of it and the generator will be under the tongue weight capacity of the trailer hitch.
