Recommended Hitch Adapter For 5 Inch Rise On Class I Hitch Receiver

Question:
Hello, I have used etailer many times for hitch mounts for bike racks. I have one on my 2016 A4 with a 1Up bike rack. When the bike rack is folded up against the car I have no issues on any surfaces. When the bike rack is down it will drag for a brief second only if the ground is not level, like pulling off pavement to direct with a small transition to dirt or if like I go over a speed bump. Its almost like I need just a small extension at 45 degree angle to get it a tad more higher. Does such a thing exist??

For your 2016 Audi A4, I recommend the Hitch Adapter 1-1/4" to 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver with 5" Rise # HT5R. This will give you the additional ground clearance you need but will reduce the tongue weight capacity of your hitch by 50%. You will also need to use the 2 inch adapter on your bike rack.
