2017 Kia Sorento Without Factory Tow Package Trailer Wiring Recommendation

Question:
According to Curt Mfg website and tech support, they dont make a vehicle wiring harness for a 2017 Kia Sorento without the factory tow package. However, your website shows that the C56256 will work for this vehicle. Can you confirm that this wiring harness will work for this vehicle? Thanks.

Short answer is we know the part # C56256 is a fit for your 2017 Kia Sorento as this harness plugs into the taillight connectors and provides the trailer wiring. Since it installs like this no tow package would be needed as all versions of the vehicle have the same taillights.

What size bolts do I use for a Drawtite trailer hitch (75909) - bar code 7 42512 75908 2? Putting it on a 2017 Kia Sorento. It does not have the factory tow package.I have the hitch but can’t find the bolts. Also, is part number C56256 the correct wiring harness?
