This receiver fit my Kia like a glove. I was able to install it myself with only one minor issue... I had to buy a tap to clean out four of the bolt holes due to corrosion but no big deal. I look forward to hooking up my new bike carrier and hitting the trails!

Over all very good experience. Hitch was exactly as described. I was a little concerned when I saw the box leaning against my garage. It looked like the hitch tried to escape capture. I’m sure most of if not all the blame goes on the ups carrier
Despite the fact that the installation of this hitch receiver is somewhat of a pain, even with two people, the instructions and information available from etrailer is very good overall and leads you through the installation process very well. The receiver itself looks great and is an excellent fit, once installed.
The '17 Kia Sorento apparently has some changes from what's in the instructions, which are very useful to know, but make the job a bit easier. The plastic cover, the removal of which is the second step after dropping the spare, is different. There are no Phillips-head screws to remove, and no nuts. The two plastic nut-like items are purely push-on nuts that grip onto the ridged studs, and do not thread. They are captive on the cover, so come off simply by pulling down on the cover. Reinstalling, however, is a problem because one of the studs is close to the hitch mounting, and the head of the #1 bolt prevents the cover's rear captive nut to line up with the stud. The solution is possibly to un-captivate the nut and install it after the cover's in place (which happened to me by itself from all the forcing I was doing).
Overall, a very nice fit to the '17 Sorento.

Due to my circumstances I havent been doing much towing in the past year, but otherwise have no problems, hitch did its job when I did tow. Nice close fit of the ball mount into the square opening. Would have just liked the connector mounting to be higher to keep the mounted connector higher off the ground.
I bought this hitch package, the receiver with the mounting ball and the ball. Installed in my 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe (easily) and drove 1500 miles from Houston, TX to Bismarck, ND in winter through icy roads hitching a 3500 pounds trailer. Worked very well with no issues at all. I recommend this product based on price and quality.
The hitch went on just as described, no surprises. Only note of caution would be "to keep all bolts very loose at first.. tighten only after all bolts are in place".
Over the years this is my 3rd Hitch and I've never been disappointed with the product, shipping time, ease of installation nor the price.

Simply put.. GREAT! No rust and we have salt/snow to deal with here, totally satisfied.
A very sturdy and easy to install hitch on a 2019 Kia Sorento EX V6 AWD. The hitch looks nice on the vehicle and is very securely attached in 7 places. I chose this hitch because it does not require a strap for non-trailer loads and provides a no-drill bracket for the trailer wiring harness. I did have to modify the panel on the passenger side to reattach it. The video explains that the panel can be left out but I decided it was worth the modification. I just drilled 2 holes where the bolts are located on the hitch and cut the rest using scissors. Picture is attached. For the wiring harness bracket I used item 18144 and the wiring kit CURT C56332. Our vehicle has the factory tow package. Ultimately to check if your vehicle has the tow package you just need to pop out the 2 plastic rivets on the driver side panel shown in the install video and see if the 2 connectors are present. I was not able to confirm through the dealer or Kia corporate which Sorentos have the factory tow package.
Product arrived very quickly and very well packaged. The installation took about 45 minutes since aside from being simple, the instructions and video are very detailed. I wish every product I purchased had this clear step by step instruction. One of my bolts arrived with a minor manufacturing defect and etrailers went above and beyond to get me a new one. Extremely satisfied and looking forward to purchasing their roof racks for my vehicle. Along with the hitch, I also purchased a J-pin part#63201, the Curt 4-Pole T-connector part#C56256, and flat mounting bracket for the connector part#18144. All were really easy to install.
I was very pleased to say that this trailer hitch fit my truck perfect. I ordered from somewhere else and it did not fit. So the mechanic told me to order from here because he has the brand on his truck. Thanks you guys

It has been working very good. I have used it twice with my cargo carrier. It worked perfectly. No issues.
Product came in fast. Overall quality was good. All hardware was there and installation was great. Took a few hours but we didn't have the car lifted at all. Driveway install. No regrets whatsoever.

I still love the product. I’ve used it to transport my motorcycle on a trailer and to haul things from Florida to Alabama in a 4x8 trailer. Couldn’t be happier.
The Draw Tite hitch for our 2020 Santa Fe came in three days. We got it to use for a bike rack. It was well-packaged and came with all the hardware. The hitch appears to be well-made and should last a long time. I reviewed the included instructions and video from etrailer.com which accurately showed how to install the hitch. I do not have a hoist in my garage and was able to install the hitch in about 1 1/2 hour without even jacking up the car. The installation was relatively easy and the hitch was made to fit perfectly. I recommend just following the instructions and you will have no issues. I used a floor jack to lift and hold the hitch in place until I could get the bolts started. I found it necessary to re-install the three exhaust hangers starting at the hanger at the back of the muffler and working forward. It also helped to use air tools but it was not a necessity. I highly recommend etrailer and Draw Tite!
I bought a bike rack and this hitch receiver yesterday and installed them both. The hitch is definitely going to be easier to install with 2 people, as lifting it into place is awkward with this hefty thing. The install will also definitely be easier with a raised vehicle. Of course, I did this without raising the car, and I did it all on my own haha. Obviously, this took me longer as a result. I've very little experience working on cars, so I made a conscious effort not to be daunted by lowering the exhaust- I had never even lowered/removed the spare tire before this. Huge props to etrailer for the install video. It helped SO MUCH. The product's printed instructions for this install were so terrible I would have removed a star, but the vids answered all the questions I had.
If you're concerned about tools: I removed the rubber hangers for the exhaust with my hands for the most part, though the one closest the rear of the vehicle, I employed a screwdriver then wrench to pry it off. I'm convinced I could have done this with my fingers as well. The WD-40 was a nice tip. I think it helped slip those off easier.
I ended up having to jack up the car to re-hang the exhaust, as the newly installed tow rig reduced wiggle room under the car, but this wasn't a big deal. I'm going over all this stuff for those of you looking to do your own installation.
To sum up: Love the hitch. Looks great, and is definitely sturdy. 5 stars for sure, because the cons are vastly outshone by the pros.
Received the product on time in good condition as promised and as expected. The Drawtite for the 2016 Kia Sorento SX V6 is a perfect fit. It took me 1 hour to install. I was by myself with no lift.
Very well hidden, tight fit. Drawtite version provided mount for connector and extra hole in receiver tube for anti-rattle pin.
Fast shipping and a perfect fit. Install went exactly as videos indicated. Torquing the bolts was a little tricky due to the position of the hitch, but was doable. The worse part was gaining access to the gear to raise the spare tire. The hitch didnt allow a socket to be used and i had to use an open ended wrench to raise the tire up. No big deal. The wiring harness was a perfect plug fit and that portion went perfectly

The Draw-Tite hitch was a fairly easy install on my 2018 Kia Sorento LX. I did have to trim the plastic cover on the left side slightly when reinstalling it due to the location of the hitch bolts. All in all it is a very clean installation and the install went smoothly.
Super Service! I ordered the trailer hitch and bike rack on Monday and received both on Wednesday. I leave in Florida and we have a auto service shop call Tire Kingdom. We called and asked them if they install hitches...yes. The installed the hitch today, Thursday same week hitch was ordered. They charged us $50. I know that I probably could have installed the hitch but only the car jack and $50 install what's not to like.
Super fast shipping. Exact fit with a few minor modifications to splash panel after bolts were installed. Good snug fit and should be an excellent hitch for what I need. Took a little longer than I expected to install since I was working by myself and on the ground, rear of vehicle slightly raised. Overall, great product at a great price. Video tutorial was a big help.
Overall the hitch is well made and is holding up well in our northern climate. The packaging was sub par and the hitch was protruding from the box when it arrived it had some significant scratches below the paint into the steel. I cleaned the hitch, and applied primer and paint to the affected areas, and it seems to be holding up well.
It was fairly easy to install. I would say I am hardly handy, and I was able to get the hitch on in about 1 hour. The fit is good, it is nice and snug. I have only used a cargo attachment so far, no towing yet, but everything is real solid.

It was great to have the videos of the the hitch and the wiring installs. Watching them first took the guess work out of the install. If I would say anything at all , I would recommend color matching bolt #3 and nut#6. Even though it is showed in the instructions.Quality of materials and install went as explained. The overall appearance is great and looks natural.
