Recommended 4-Way And 7-Way Trailer Wiring For 2015 Honda Pilot

Question:
Hello- Im looking to put in trailer wiring on my 2015 Pilot. Right now, we only need a 4-way but in the future we might need a 7-way as well. I have seen receivers that can handle both but not sure about for 2015 Pilot. Any guidance would be appreciated.

We have just what you are looking for.
A 7-way trailer connector is typically used when someone is towing a trailer with brakes. A brake controller would need to be installed in the vehicle for trailers with brakes.
I recommend getting part # 118265 for a 7-way that plugs right into your 2015 Honda Pilot's tow package wiring harness. You'll find the harness behind the rear bumper.
That gives you a 7-way but not the 4-way; however, if you replace the 7-way connector on the # 118265 harness with part # HM40920 it'll give you both connectors in one. This way you get both the connectors you want with the easy, plug and play installation of the wiring harness.
