Can Rear Jacks For Lippert Ground Control Leveling System Be Raised For More gorund Clearance

Question:

Can I move my rear leveler up a notch,they tend to hit my curb while backing up,my mounts looked adjustable.

On page 4 of the installation instructions for the Lippert Ground Control 3.0 # LC358590, the rear jacks should be installed so they have 7 to 9 inches of clearance when fully retracted.

If your jacks have less distance than that from the ground, then you can re-install them to the required height.

We engaged our jacks at Flagstaff KOA, awful terrain. One jack went down to the ground then came back up halfway. Yet, the system said rig was level. Don’t all four jacks have to have contact with the ground ?

Yes, all the jacks should contact the ground when leveling your trailer. I'm thinking the terrain may have just been a bit too uneven for proper operation. Have you been able to level the trailer since?

@ChrisR Yes, has to do a manual emergency reset.
