Hi, looking to swap out my 5th wheel king pin with the gen y. But need guidance on which one will work. Attached is a photo of the current king pin.

Thanks for the picture! I just spoke with my rep at Lippert. Your toy hauler has a 1716 pin box which means you will want the Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box item # GY43FR. This pin box has a 21,000 lbs capacity and a 3,500 lbs tongue weight. If you want something that has a heavier capacity we also offer the Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box item # GY48FR with a 25,000 lbs capacity and 4,500 lbs tongue weight. These pin boxes have a pin weight scale that is built in to help you balance your trailer. The included filler shims insert between the pin box and your trailer's wings for an easy installation.

You will also need the Safety Chain with 2 Hooks for Gen-Y 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box item # GY49GR as the pin box does not included the required safety chains.
