Question:

What is the difference between Fastway e2 and Equalizer? They look the same but Equalizer costs more. Is it made out of heavier steel or something?

The Fastway e2 Weight Distribution part # FA92-00-1200 and our Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System part # EQ37140ET are both very similar products with minor differences. I recommend the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System for a few reasons.

For starters, the Equal-i-zer products contains a 4-Point Sway control system whereas the Fastway e2 only has a 2-point system. The 2-point sway control system has sway control only at the ends of the springs bars on the trailer side. A system with a 4-point sway control such as the Equal-I-zer has the previously mentioned 2-points in addition to 2-points where the spring bars mount in the head. This allows for more stability in crosswinds and while turning. The Equal-i-zer systems also come with a hitch ball mount whereas, the Fastway e2 does not.
