Yes, the Draw Tite hitch part # 24878 is a confirmed fit for your 2016 Chevy Sonic LS hatchback and would work well for you. I prefer the Draw Tite to the Curt hitches for carrying bike racks as they do not require using a stabilizer strap like the Curt hitches do.
