Will Rock Tamers Fit on Vehicle with 1 inch Shank Clearance with Bumper Above Shank

Question:
I have a weight distribution hitch for a 30ft travel trailer. The receiver on the f150 ends short of the end of the bumper. The distribution hitch has 1inch of 2x2 clearance but this 1inch is partially under the rear bumper. Will the tamer bracket still work on an angle facing up?

The brackets of the RockTamers like part # ERT00108 can be angled back so that the flaps and the support bar can fit around a bumper if needed.
If you check out the picture I attached you can see the brackets angled back.
