Could Titan Hitch Extender be Cut Down to 34 inches

Question:

can i cut the unit down to 34inch and drill the pin hole again. Can i use it with my class 5 hitch from ford.

If you had the tools to do the job right, there's no reason you couldn't cut the # RP45018 down to 34 inches to make it basically the shorter version part # RP45292. The shorter section of the extender where the 2 inch hitch opening is the same dimension between both adapters.

Cutting this down and drilling a new hole may impact the integrity of the extension and the exact capacities would be unknown at that point. I would also like to mention that the warranty on the product would be void.

The problem with Ford 2-1/2 inch hitches is that they typically have very round corners which makes installing 2-1/2 inch hitch accessories difficult if not impossible. Some of them work just fine but others for no apparent reason are just too round to fit accessories like these.
