Why does owners manual require negative battery cable disconnect? Doesnt the Roadmaster invisibrake trickle charge the battery/

Some vehicles require disconnecting the negative battery cable when flat towing them to prevent battery drain. If you have installed the Roadmaster Automatic Battery Disconnect # RM-766 you will not need to do this since this item includes a switch to select either Tow or Drive modes. It will deliver a trickle charge to your toad's battery. Please refer to the linked installation video showing another Ford vehicle.
