Could you please tell me the difference in the Blue Ox Acclaim and Alpha tow bars?

Expert Reply:
Biggest difference is how they connect to the tow vehicle. The Alpha part # BX7380 slides into a hitch opening and the Acclaim # BX4330 connects to a hitch ball like a trailer does. The preferred method is the Alpha which allows you to fold the tow bar up on the tow vehicle and store it there when not in use.
Aside from that the Alpha has a higher capacity of 6,500 lbs and the Acclaim is rated at 5,000 lbs.
