How Do I Wire the Blue Wire From My Brake Controller On my Motorhomes 7-way
Published 01/14/2011 >
Question:
My motorhome is already wired for lights, turn signals and brake lights. I want to install an electric brake controller for my tow dolly brakes. Do I only have to run 1 blue wire from the controller to the 7 blade connector on the back of the motorhome that goes along with the trailer 7blade with the electric brakes on the same pin or blade.

Yes, you will only need to run one blue wire from your brake controller to the 7-way connector on the back of your motorhome, this wire is what takes the signal from your brake controller to your tow dolly to tell your dolly how much braking power should be applied.
I attached a link below that you might find helpful when you are wiring up your connector, I also attached a picture to the right that shows how you should wire the 7-way connector on your motorhome.
