Tailgate Assist that Fits 2016 Ford F-350 Super Duty

Question:
Can you verify if the Hopkins torsion bar tailgate assist will not fit a 2016 F350 Lariat CCSB? My truck has no factory installed assist and I can see no reason why it would not work. Hopkins states it only fits the Superduty up to 2006 I believe. Thanks.

The Hopkins torsion spring you mentioned is not listed as a fit for your 2016 Ford F-350 but we have the DeeZee part # DZ43203 which will allow tailgate to lower slower and not slam down. It does not allow it to close easier though.
