Will Draw-Tite Class V Hitch 41944 Bolt Up to Bumper Bracket Like Factory Hitch
Updated 02/07/2017 | Published 02/05/2017 >
Question:
Im looking for a class v trailer hitch for my 2009 Chevrolet 2500. The factory hitch is a class III but it is also bolted to the underside of the rear bumper and is the support for the bumper it self. I removed the factory hitch and now the bumper is vary flimsy without the hitch supporting it. My question is which class v trailer hitch do you offer for my truck that still allows to be bolted to the rear bumper so that it is properly suppoted?

We offer Class V hitches in both 2-inch and 2-1/2-inch sizes for your 2009 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. All are shown on the linked page. Draw-Tite's 2-inch hitch # 41944 is a no-drill install since it bolts up to the bumper bracket the same way as the factory hitch. Written instructions and a helpful video are linked for you.
