Benefits & Risks of Using EZ-Lube Spindles

Question:

T replace travel trailer tires, grease and check beakes. Unit has Easy Lube spindles. Now hearing that they can be troublesome and easy to mess the rear seal. Dont know what to believe with them now pull the bearings and hand grease or take a chance nothing goes wrong. Thanks.

EZ-Lube spindles make it really easy to keep your hubs filled with grease. But they can also make it easier to blow out your grease seal if they are over-filled. The best solution, apart from using care to avoid this over-filling concern, is to use double-lip grease seals that can withstand higher grease pressure.

The linked page displays all of our double-lip grease seals. You can simply match your part number or select a seal based on the inner and outer diameter dimensions. These dimensions need to be very precise, to the nearest thousandth such as 1.234-inches. The seal inner diameter must match your spindle diameter and the seal outer diameter must match your hub bore.
