The installation location for your Kat's Heaters Custom Fit Engine Block Heater - Cartridge Style - 120V - 400 Watts, # KH11812, on your 2016 Kia Sorento with 2.4L engine is the 2nd RR. This is the location 2nd from the right in the rear of your block, so passenger side toward trunk second from right.
1) Locate cartridge hole on the engine block.
2) Clean cartridge hole of all debris. Use compressed air.
3) Attach cord to heater.
4) Install heater into the hole. Rotate the clip on the cord to the proper position to secure the heater and cord to the engine block and heater.
5) Route the cord through the grill, using cable ties to prevent the cord from getting in contact with any hot or moving parts.
