Question:

I just purchased a RM=031 from you and was told that I could use it to go from my Roadmaster Blackhawk 2 All Terrain 10,000 lb tow bar to the Blue Ox baseplate for my new Chevy Silverado. On first appearance it looks like it would work but the instructions look like they are wrote for tow bars like my old Falcon 2. Instructions shows marking the collar that the adapters bolt thru have a precise location so that the collars do not rotate over 15 degrees either side. The Blackhawk 2 collars will spin 360 degrees as well as the arms. On the Falcon and instructions only the collar spins 15 degrees and the arm does not turn. Are you sure this RM031 will work for me?

Yes, Roadmaster Tow Bar to Blue Ox Brackets Adapter # RM-031 works with the Blackhawk All-Terrain tow bar. This is the only adapter, other than # BX88262, to adapt the Blackhawk to Blue Ox base plates and it installs exactly the same way. Depending on the age of your Blackhawk the instructions for the adapter may not apply (entirely) because there was a design change at one point on the nuts at the ends of the tow bar arms.
