Question:
Hi, I am buying a 2003 Lexus gx470 and I would like to put the heaviest duty trailer hitch on it. There were weight distribution from the factory that had a 650lb tongue weight and I believe 6500 pound tow capacity. Do you have anything that has this kind of capacity. If not whats the strongest you have. Thank you

Expert Reply:
The hitches we offer for your 2003 Lexus GX 470 are the 2-inch Class III variety and among all of these, shown on the linked page, the highest-rated hitch is Draw-Tite # 75155. This hitch offers a 600-lb tongue weight (TW) rating which increases to 730-lbs when a weight distribution system is used. An installation video is linked for you along with the written instructions. The hitch comes with all required hardware.
You'll want to check your Lexus owner's manual to confirm the vehicle's own TW rating, which could be different than the hitch's rating.
If you need a 4-pole wiring harness you can use hardwire kit # C59496.
