I went to our warehouse and pulled a sample of the Draw-Tite 24-Inch-Long Combo Bar # 2852 so that I could measure its outside dimension for you. The bar itself measures 2-9/16-inches on each side and the reinforced collar area at the end of the hitch tube measures 2-7/8-inches on each side.

I prepared for you a photo of this part with these dimensions noted.
