Hello, This is a follow up question to Conners answer. I looked at the vehicle connector and it looks like a 7-pin connector. I have attached pictures. Based on them, what connection would you recommend. Also would I need the following part? Pollak Replacement 7-Pole, RV-Style Trailer Connector Socket - Vehicle End Item # PK11893

Yes, the Tekonsha Prodigy RF Wireless Trailer Brake Controller part # TK94FR will work on your 2018 Volkswagen Atlas SEL as long as you have a 7-way trailer connector. If you do not already have a 7-way trailer connector then you are going to first need a 4-way trailer connector and then a 4 to 7-way trailer connector. For this, I recommend using the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 118754 with the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller part # ETBC7. Please note that you will still need to run the 12 volt black power wire from the 7-way to the positive terminal on the battery.
In regards to installation, you will need to have the brake controller and vehicle in the same location in order to pair them to one another.
