We can help you select replacement 10-inch hubs for your 1997 EZ-Loader boat trailer.
You will want to pull your inner and outer bearings to get their part numbers as this is the easiest and surest way to confirm the correct fit for your new hub/drums. New hubs must use the same bearings in order for them to fit on your current spindles. You can refer to the linked diagram to see where to find part numbers on your inner and outer bearings.
With those in hand you can then click on the link provided to see all 10 x 2-1/4-inch hub/drum assemblies. First, click on your wheel bolt pattern, then click on your axle weight capacity (the plate or sticker on the axle should indicate this weight capacity).
As it happens, all hub/drums of this size that we offer use the same inner bearing, part # L68149. So select your outer bearing, either # L44649 or # LM67048, to then see hubs that will fit your spindles.
For example, if your wheel bolt pattern is 5-on-4-1/2 (and your axle rating is 3500-lbs) and your outer bearing is # L44649 then you could use hub/drum # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K if you have E-Z Lube spindles or part # AKHD-545-35-K if you have standard spindles.
If you cannot find the bearing part numbers you can measure the spindle at points C & D in the linked diagram to get their inner diameters. You need to measure to the nearest thousandth of an inch, such as 1.234-inches. We offer a digital caliper # PTW80157 to make measuring easy.
