Is the Mounting Style of the Timbren DR1500DQ Secure Will Timbren Fall Out of Cup

Question:

Any problem once their seated of them falling out because they are simply pressed up into the bump stop mount?

We haven't had any issues with the Timbren part # TDR1500DQ coming out of the bump stop cup when used.

The factory bump stops are also pressed in and they don't have a tendency to fall out either.

I have the same concern. I just installed mine today and the first time I pressed them into the cup holder they fell out. So I put two blocks under the item and let the vehicle down hard on the axle and they stayed in. My question is, I noticed that the flat piece that the rubber stop rides on when the weight of the vehicle pushes down under load isnt flat and it has a slight angle to it. It looks like it is going to push the rubber stop to the side and then eventually come off? Is there any fastener type glue or epoxy that would hold it in place. If the item falls out is it warranted?

We honestly haven't heard any instances from customers where their Timbren Springs fell out of the bump stop cup. The wood block method you used to get them fully seated is a great solution (we actually did this during our install on the 16 Ram) and you don't need to worry about them coming loose over time. I don't recommend using any glue or epoxy to secure them into place as this could affect their overall performance. The Timbrens do come with a limited lifetime warranty.

Hi, i bought dr1500dq for my Ram 2017 sxt and there is no cup on the Truck to receive the timbren, the original bump only holds on a pipe about two inches, Do i bought the good ones or is There another way to install Them?
