Looking to purchase the 24769 draw tite hitch. Will this ht5r fit ? Dodge Caliber 2007

The Draw-Tite # 24769 hitch is confirmed to fit your 2007 Dodge Caiber as long as it isn't an SRT-4 model.
The Brophy hitch adapter # HT5R will fit into the Draw-Tite hitch but it will reduce the tongue capacity of your hitch by 50 percent. Which will then limit you to only 100lbs of tongue weight. Depending on the weight capacity of your Caliber it could be less. You will want to check the placard on the inside of your drivers door or your owner's manual (page 257) to see what your vehicle's tongue weight is. It's important to note that you will be reduced to 50 percent of the lowest rated item in your setup, which may end up being your vehicle.
